The Process:

Vehicle lettering is a process which involves transferring a graphic, lettering or numbers from a design software onto vinyl. The vinyl is cut by a vinyl plotter/cutter. Additional parts of the design including the background are removed through a process called weeding. The vinyl graphic is then transferred to adhesive and ready to be applied to the vehicle after the surface is thoroughly cleaned.

Throughout this process important things to consider are size of the vehicle, dimensions of the graphic, color of vehicle and graphic, font, and when applying; preparation and alignment are crucial in making sure the design is applied properly.
